Hunts
At Milliron Outfitters, we offer world class mule deer and antelope archery hunts. We are ‘all about’ the rush of bow hunting. With over 20,000 + acres of gullies, deep draws and flats of plush sage brush, we offer some of the best heart-pounding excitement available with your clothes on!

Mule Deer
Mule deer hunts at Milliron Outfitters are all spot and stalk. Expect to take anywhere from 5-50 yard shots depending upon your stalking skills. As you plan your hunt, we suggest coming in Early Season- last week in September to mid-October- as the weather is still warm and the deer still seek shade along the washouts and cuts in the hillsides. We will spot them from a distance and start the stalk while always playing the wind.


Weather permitting, mule deer hunts are an all day adventure hunt here at Milliron Outfitters. We will stop in the field at mid-day to catch a bite to eat, or return to the lodge for a relaxing meal, depending on your preference. Or, we will hunt all day if you prefer! Mule deer hunts at Milliron Outfitters are 100% guided by knowledgeable, local guides. We feel it is effective to have our guides working with you in a partnership to get your buck. All of our guides use quality optics and are always in possession of a range finder.


Expect to see 20+ bucks a day with numerous opportunities to sneak in on the Mulie of your dreams. We have plenty of P/Y deer for you to hunt.




Antelope
At Milliron Outfitters, we have a number of large herds of antelope free roaming our 20,000+ acre ranch. The large population of antelope means that you will see numerous P/Y bucks each day.


We offer antelope hunts over decoys (spot and stalk) and in blinds over water holes. During the rut, we prefer to use a decoy and take ‘em close. We use double bull blinds and also several portable hand built blinds, all built with your comfort in mind.


Antelope hunts are 100% guided when doing a spot and stalk. Much like the Mule hunts, we feel that two parties working together to get your buck is much more effective than one. However, having a guide is optional when it comes to water hole hunts.
